Could anyone recommend a good replacement 10" woofer for a Pioneer DSS-5 speaker? They're dual v.c. so it'll have to be a dual v.c. woofer. I've never seen such a sophisticated Xover in a Pioneer speaker before. Got nice mids and tweets too. I'd like to just refoam but the guy I got them from played them for a long time with the surrounds gone so who knows what kind of shape the v.c. are in... thx in advance:)

I know of no direct "drop-in" for those types of speakers, meaning popular brand-names. Rarely using off-the-shelf drivers, companies used proprietary drivers built to their specs. The only way to preserve the SQ you like is to have the originals repaired. PE can do it, so can these guys:

Now, not all drivers can be repaired, but the guys at speakerreapir might be able to get you an original or recommend what others have used with decent results. Sending drivers out to be repaired can be expensive, so if you're on a budget, it might not be practical.
