This past winter I built my version of Wolf's triumph subwoofer. I had originally designed my own with a slot port, but since it's intended use is near field (computer), I was hearing a lot of port noise. I purchased the 2 PR's required and tried my hand at real wood veneer. I used the cold press technique with 2 ply quarter-sawn white oak. The finish is 2 coats of Danish Oil followed by 3 coats hand rubbed clear. I plan on rebuilding/redesigning my bandits to have matching cabs to this sub.

It sounds absolutely way better than it's size says it should. I was listening to some high quality, well produced rock the other day (well, it sounded better than the rock I'm used to, which isn't saying much), and the sound was amazingly deep and the bass drum played with with great authority. It is paired with Lou's C-Killas in a large living room and kitchen combo. Truthfully, this is not how I intended to use it, and it does run out of steam pretty quickly. But for practical listening levels it works great. Thanks Wolf!

I like the grille shapes you used on it! Very good eye-catcher.

Yes- it will do quite a bit, but not at insane levels.
Glad you like it! :D
