Music preferance?

Hello, i have been using DD live for as long as i've had my sound card for everything. Music included. I recently switched to stereo only and found that both have good and bad things about them. What do you guys use for music?

I always have my soundcard in dts-connect mode (same as DD live but dts). I haven't noticed much of a difference between using that or just sending 2.0 PCM to my AVR for stereo music.
