Hi,

just wanted to ask you if you could share experiences with cd-labels that you connect with well executed recordings? (and preferrably, good music)

My two top-labels are Linn (somewhat limited "scope"...) and a swedish label, Opus3.

While I'm sure all have at least one bad release, I find Sony Records, Telarc, Mercury Records and RCA Records to be good.

GRP is a pretty good jazz label (Grusin/Rosen Productions - not sure of the spelling). Dave Grusin is a musician I believe. These guys know what jazz should sound like.
