Hello! Newbie to the forum. Glad to make y'all's acquaintence!

Does anyone have a set of FRD/ZMA files for the PE 295-315 Dayton DC250-8 Woofer, or tell me where I can get them? I am in need of these, especially the ZMA file.

I have a copy of the PE data sheet, but it is protected, and I cannot figure out how to copy the Impedance graph to make a ZMA file with SPL Trace for use in JeffB's crossover designer. I can select the appropriate area using the Adobe Snap-Shot feature, but darn if I can make a copy of it. And of course, there may be ways to do this of which I am not aware!

Thanks for the help!

Wolf has a pointer here to what SHOULD be a big .zip file with what you need buried in it.

Otherwise, I can post just those two F/Z files later (maybe tomorrow).

If "SPLTrace"ing is OK, just zoom in on your PDF, and hit the "prt scrn" button.
Then go into Trace and "Load from clipboard". It'll pop right in there.

Off you go.

Thanks mucho for the files, Chris. I will look at Wolf's stuff too. There might be some other things in there that I can use in the future.

I did notice that the files you sent had the Phase info in them as well. Will that load ok into JeffB's crossover designer? So far, I have only had data like Ohms vs Freq. Of course the Phase data would help in the design. I would assume that is should load ok. Will surely give it a try! I need to look to see exactly what formatting these FRD and ZMA files need to have. I know about no "leader" info at the beginning. Not sure on the column spacing.

For CJ -- Took me a bit to figure out how SPL Trace worked too. I did find a little tutorial online which created a few "Ahh Haa's" for me. It is somewhat time consuming, but it does work. Biggest problem I have had is doing the copy-n-paste from the data sheets. That problem for this speaker is what created the need for my original post.

Thanks to all! And have a Happy New Year!!
