Yes. The OmniMic will also work as a USB plug in mic for other software and use the USB power as phantom power. It is not calibrated in this configuration, but since, I believe, it uses a standard Panasonic capsule, a typical cal file should work reasonably well. Without it you will only be off a little at high frequencies anyway. Bill can correct me if I have any of this wrong.

You can try exporting the cal file and using that in another program.

I was not aware you could do this but, from the small section of a post from Bill at AVS it may be possible in the future. I do think Bill will have to clarify this though.
"The new calibrations will be file-based (not code-based) as that is needed to provide the calibration down to 5Hz that people want and also should give the calibrating technician a view of what the curves look like so oddities can be weeded out. A new OM software version has been compiled for using the file-based calibration."
