Does anyone know the differences between CL2P and CL3P hdmi cables?

The P indicates it's for use in plenum spaces. (ex: a plenum ceiling is typically when the space between the ceiling tiles and above slab is used as a return duct for the HVAC system, the plenum rating helps reduce toxic gases from being spread thruout the building.

As far as I know CL@ is rated to 150V and CL3 is rated up to 300V

CL2 is for class 2 circuits, CL3 is for class 3 circuits:

thanks feyz,

That adds in understanding the difference between CL2 and CL3 which seems mostly related to how much voltage\power the cable can handle.

That said I still haven't seen how to determine if a hdmi Cl3 rated cable is needed or required over a CL2 rated cable, since the hdmi standard seems limited to 5.3v volts.
