Portable system - but Solar

I really like some of these portable systems I have been seeing here. I have/had one of those wind-up and solar combination radios and the spring is wearing out. I was wondering about using the guts from one of these security lights

and a T amp and some full range speakers or some OS linked together to create a unit. Might even be able to make it motion activated....

Your thoughts? Do you think the 6 Volt battery could yield enough power?

Maybe, if you used the solar panels to charge a battery. I'd be more concerned about current draw. Small solar panels typically drive LEDs, not amps. There are some EE types around here, maybe they'll chime in...
