At what frequency will the Alpha 6a need to be crossed over to handle the midrange of a 600 watt PA top (no attenuation)?
I'm guessing 600hz to 650Hz for a full range system but that might change for a PA top.

Model the driver in the proposed cab, look at the excursion plot at full power to see if that's a limiting factor. Thermally Pe is doubled for each octave above Fs where the driver is high passed.

Thanks Bill! That's good info.

Alpha 6a has an Fs of 118hz and a power handling of 100 watts. If my math is correct 600Hz high pass is just a little low for a 600 watt system.
