Here's the deal. I got this a while back to add another plate amp to because the class D amp in it was fried. I never did anything with it, and since the proximity to my children's bedrooms is too close for HT anyway, I doubt I ever will. I will just stick with my smaller 12" sub and call it good until I'm too old to care anyway:)

The driver is unusual because it is a SVC 2ohm driver, so if you plan to use it, you either need a 2ohm stable amp or plate amp. Lots of class Ds out there that are 2ohm stable. The driver is in fine condition. I ran it on my amp for a while out of the box at decent excursion to make sure it is OK.

As you can see from the images, it is quite an impressive looking driver with a double stacked magnet. I have the original cabinet also (pictured) which is in very good condition minus some tearing on the grill cloth. I might even have some grill cloth the buyer can have. The issue is that I will not ship the box. It is pretty large.

Asking $60 for the driver + Shipping

Cabinet is free to a local for pick up. I'm in McKinney, TX North of Dallas.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Thanks,

Blair

How many cubic feet is the box?

Good morning,

The OD is 17.5" X 17.5" X 20.5" plus a 1" strip of MDF boxed around the inside of the base for a "stand" of sorts.

Based on my rough and quick math, I get ID of 16.25" X 15.5" X 19.25" giving a volume of roughly 2.8 ft3.

Thanks!

Blair

Blair, everything OK with you and yours up there in the DFW area after the tornados?
(sorry for the thread jack)
Andy.

Hi Andy!

All is well. I had a few leaves blow out of my oak tree, but nothing serious:)

All joking aside, it was a nasty series of events yesterday and the communities and local resources are pulling together to assist the injured and newly homeless people.

Hope all is well down there!

Blair

Is the cab ported or sealed? Might make a good car sub since it's 2 ohm.

Just found this sub again in a closet we don't use. How about $40? If you want the cabinet also, it looks like I took the time somewhere around the original posting date to put new grill cloth on it, so the front grill looks new.

As far as 2 ohms goes, there is a 600W class D amp here and on eBay that is 2 ohm stable, and you can use your HT receiver to EQ, or low pass it.

Thanks,

Blair
