I have been tinkering with WBaCD 4.5 to learn different alignments for drivers. Using the Peerless 832444 4 1/2" woofer I come up with a sealed box for two woofers in a MTM. How does this look? Haven't come up with an inexpensive tweeter for the design as it is mostly a learning experiment. Who knows I may build them to continue the learning.

Seems to have shrunk. Box external dimensions are 14"h X 6"w X 9"d with 1/2" walls and a 1" baffle. Volume is 5.7L, sealed. Speakers are in series for 8ohms.
When I tried a vented box there was a "knee" where the response started to drop that I could not get rid of. I tried a lot of different volumes and vent sizes. It looks like these speakers like a sealed box.?

That usually means the EBP of the driver is too low and likes a sealed enclosure better. I think the truncated Vifa tweeter is on sale again and would fit between your drivers physically and frequency wise fine. I'd try and cross it at about 3000Hz or a little above as long as the Peerless's don't have any "nasties" around there to deal with.

This is the only build I am aware of so far that uses those drivers.

do you have any raw driver measurements? I was considering using these as a midrange in a 3 way, just wondering what the response looks like

I dont. I was only using the T/S measurements. I have seen others use the factory measurements from similar Peerless woofers with some success. Peerless drivers of similar cone materials all seem to have very similar graphs.
