So here's what I've been cooking up, build thread can be found here. (http://techtalk.parts-express.com/showthread.php?t=231875) Haven't decided on a finish, and still thinking about the baffle edges. Should I leave em square, or do a 45 degree chamfer around the front and rear baffle edges? What would you do?
*Note: Poll is multiple choice, please try not to pick contradicting options, it's public, so we'll know who you are! If you've got a better idea that's not listed, feel free to reply and make a suggestion, thanks!

voted, It doesn’t look like the rear baffle matches the front so I’d only chamfer the front. What no flat black? Seems like you could accent the front baffle with a different color/ finish.

+1 on the chamfer just the front, cherry sides, black painted front & satin clear coat on all :)
If it was me-
I'd round the top front to rear edges, and the bottom of the same.
Then I would chamfer the verticals on the baffle. BIG chamfer.
Heck- be different- Use a circle jig and a chamfer bit, see what you come up with!
Another method of aesthetics is to 'v-groove' at joining edges to hide the actual joint.

I'd go with a high gloss cherry on the sides and a satin black on the front baffle. Maybe a small recessed plinth to raise up the cabinet a little bit so you can see all the corners. It's a nice box.
Are you making a grill?

Grilles are for commercial speakers, and people with little kids :p All kidding aside, it's a beautiful driver, why hide it? I agree on the plinth though, or at least some feet, it needs to be up out of the carpet a little bit. Planning on finishing this next weekend, great ideas so far, keep em coming!
You want big and burly metal feet?
Trailer hitch ba||s....;)
I'll be doing that myself!

Here's my favorite place for feet.

Although I'm somewhat partial to rubber feet on subwoofers

Update: Got the chamfers done and some stain on, decided to try the black stain on the baffles. Really liking the cherry on the sides, thanks to all who voted. Finished pics will be put up on the build thread, so stay tuned over there.
