I purchased a set of these speakers with the intent of using them as a sub and rear surrounds. Now I'm thinking to achieve the best results, I need to run them actively instead of using the supplied passive crossovers. Can anyone assist with providing good crossover points?

so low pass the sub at 80-120 and highpass the 3" speakers at the same?

Yes, but you might also make sure there's not a filter network included for the satellites, because it's a full range driver.

there is a passive crossover mounted on the basket of the sub. I am able to remove it and bypass it altogether. Thanks for the help!
