The Middle

One issue in this design I have had to deal with is the alignment of the midrange. Since it has been freed up from bass duties, an alignment of .707, or something similar, to achieve the lowest extension is unnecessary. The question then arises, is there any reason not to align it at 0.5; transient perfect?
