I'll start this off with common words in the Speaker building hobby, like manufacturers names, etc.... then dilute my focus into words that seem to get misspelled, misstated, or misunderstood frequently. We can't always get this stuff from textual bases.

Manufacturers:
Accuton; "Ack-Q-tahn", from accuracy aplenty.

Hiquphon; "Hick-uh-fahn", founded by Oskar originally for the Fried tweeters.

Visaton; (auf Deutsch) "Fee-suh-taun", ...

Codename: “N.E.H.D.”

Codename is derived from .pdf file of Purpose A below, and is a supposed mistranslation from Danish to English. Documentation stated,”No ears have died…” which is possibly meant as, “Aural presentation was pleasant...”, and thusly N.E.H.D. is the resultant moniker.

Purpose A: To use the Tymphany LAT250-004 in a design, due to its unique aesthetic and construction. This stated ...
