So I think I'm back on track with my upper enclosure mold and hopefully should be casting before x-mas, took a little longer than expected because I got sidetracked with the idea of making my own drivers, or at least part of one. Looking into making the motor for a conventional speaker is not in my means, so I'm looking into something along the lines of MBL or HEIL drivers using the motor from a cannibalized conventional driver, trying different "cone" materials over the past couple weeks I'm leaning towards the squeezebox method, but for the rest of this week it's back to the upper enclosures, just need to make the mother-mold(supporting shell) and than I can pour!!!

Was hoping to be further along by now... actually finished by now, but It took a while to figure out the whole cnc process, I was going to update my machine and ordered parts, but they where taking forever to come in and some of the parts were wrong, (in fact I'm still waiting for parts) but I got it working good enough to finally go ahead.
This is the plug for the main body of the upper enclosure. For reference the enclosures behind it have cutouts for 8" woofers(though these are not for this project) I've still got one more layer add.
Finished enclosure will have the top, bottom, and baffle of wood.
Still working on the upper mid-tweeter enclosures, right now just mdf boxes, the crossovers have more components than I would like... actually let me re-phrase that... the values of the components are more expensive than I would have liked, even using a couple electrolytic capacitor and a couple Iron-core inductors, but it is what it is.
Right now for the parts I've got right around $350 not counting the enclosures.
So far they sound worth it.

here's the lower woofer enclosure I started tonight this section is 19.5" tall, and one of the pods will be mounted vertically above this.

In these pics the white enclosure is actually an experimental substance I'm going to be testing to see if I can improve performance and lower cost, though It takes 3-4 months for it to totally cure, were the resin takes minutes, but I've got a couple other products/combinations to try.

So I've got my Diy cnc pretty much running and made my first tweeter cutout yesterday, it was just out of pink foam installation and all was going perfectly until my Z axis hit a "stop" that it wasn't meant to. I had screwed my dremel to my z axis, till I get a better spindle setup, and the screws were too long would get stuck on a non-moving part, well luckily my power supply is only about 2/3 the power it should be so my stepper would just loose steps instead of just self-destructing(there only ~280 oz so maybe even at full power they'll skip) anyway I measured what had been cut, and the diameter and the depth for the mounting plate of the tweeter was right on. Still a couple things to change like upgrading the allthread screws to acme at least for the y/z axis' for more speed and getting somekind of bigger tool holder so I can use bigger router bits.

OK, so my larger project is sounding good, I need to get measurements up, but, in-depth details and pictures will have to wait(as this is a planed commercial product) anyway After all the hard work of making the proto enclosure and making a mold of it, I found it is not square, looking at it you can't tell and it doesn't effect the sound, it good enough to design the crossovers and such but it won't do for "Real" product, so because of this and designs of the same process, will also need precision, I'm making a cnc machine, actually I stated it before the start of this current speaker project, but put it on hold as I got antsy to build the speaker. Now that I've got the prototype done I'm antsy to perfect it, so out can the almost finished frame, bought some stepper motors and a controller board, so far I've got the controller board together and got the motors running, tonight I've been evaluating the 3d cad program Rhino3d and I'm putting my order in later tonight. I'm going to run ECM2 for the controller software, as for the CAM program I'm just using Freemill for now.
