So far the two best things I have heard on these pages is the phrase "Its not a chair" and "Copper is Copper".

I would hope that any avid builder would strive to always produce the best product... Rather than cut corners... This is not to say that one should buy an $800 dollar woofer when ones budget can afford a $50 woofer... I have had some simple designs balloon out of control when always opting to do use the best products.

That being said, talking the time to use a better joint when constructing your box, or waiting a week for a $20 roll of speaker wire to show up, will yield a better product than breaking out the dry wall screws and hacking up an old extension cord.
