    in the 70's my father ran tests on rocket (nasa) motor components. The test chamber was 2 cubic feet with 12' thick concrete and steel walls. Attached was a 100' long horn with a 12' throat terminating into the concrete cube. I don't know if they tested db, but it could turn a 6" billet of t6061 aluminum to dust. The "amplifier" was mounted in a 48" trailer.
