  • Horn for the B&C DE 250

    May try this tweeter soon.
What would be a good horn for this tweeter?
Looking for descent dispersion like 90 degrees (horizontal).
Will cross over between 1500 and 1800Hz.
    Two very good sociological markers.
The state of our public wash rooms.
How we treat each other behind the safety of a monitor and key board.

A horn with 90 degree horizontal dispersion pattern that supports a 1.5Khz-1.8Khz crossover point?

Seriously, this isn't a :jab" response but, given your spec's, I think you answered your own question (-:

This horn was recommended on another forum where someone said that they had tested it with the DE 250.

I see that others have used this horn with the DE 250.

Hmmmm. A square horn that isn't a foot deep and has a 90 degree pattern. Got line array written all over it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention .

I wouldn't say that. Line array is best served by a diffraction horn with a tall narrow mouth. One example:
