The "Gorditas" (The "Chubby Girls" is Spanish). Nice ring to it, likely politically incorrect.

An alternative, The "Gordos" (The "Fat Ones" in Spanish). I believe this also refers to people instead of objects, so again, politically incorrect?

      "Lebar" is Indonesian for 'wide'.

I've been modelling a larger than designed cabinet for a "Tributes" build (same driver combo you have). Have you noticed any issues with power handling in a 1ft^3 box?

I like "Gorditas." Makes me hungry. Nicely executed build, by the way.
Isn't it about time we started answering rhetorical questions?

Not yet, but I haven't really cranked them up yet either

In WinISD it seems that anything over 20w exceeds Xmax (5.5mm) in both 0.75ft3 and 1.0ft3 circa 35hz tuning.

I always get the itch when I see stuff on sale at the Canadian retailers, as I know shipping to us can be quite pricey. When the one was clearing out SB Acoustics, I was tempted to buy drivers to make a 5.0 set of speakers... now I am regretting it. Very cool build. Whoever said AudioNote was pretty spot on. That was my first thought. Very cool build.

Revisiting this build and considering using the drivers in a different project. SB doesn't list Xmax in their specs but lists linear coil travel (p-p) as 11mm. Am I correct to assume then that xmax is half of the p-p spec?
