    For what it's worth, I have a pair of Sunflower Reduxes as my go-to, main, satisfied-my-major-speaker-building-hunger. I use a HiFiMeDIY T3S to power them. They really R.O.C.K! This amp pushes the Sunflowers without breaking a sweat. I would imagine ICE amps would do the same.

    I still love building speakers and continue to do so, but the Sunflowers are so satisfying, I don't have the desire to look for another pair of main listeners.

    Thanks, Chris. It seems that if you look through the coil as if it were a gun site, you should not see another inductor (unless I am interpreting the best practices in http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/coils.htm incorrectly. The only way I see to avoid this is positioning these at the angle. The 2 that are parallel are more than 20cm apart, so those should be ok. all others are "aimed" 90 degrees away from adjacent inductors. Am I missing anything?

    Yup,
    but it also wouldn't hurt to turn the 3 angled ones CW or CCW 45* each (if that looked "better" - all the SAME rotation direction).

    I am working on a revision. Thinking of laying the center oriented up-down, moving the top iron core to the right top corner, Turning lower left and upper right oriented Northwest-Southeast and lower right air core inductor oriented Northeast-Southwest. I'll attach a sketch as soon as I have WiFi that is quick enough. Hotel connectivity is spotty here.

    If anything, I would just turn that center air core inductor 90 degrees so that its' core is oriented north-south instead of east-west like the two iron laminate core inductors are facing.

    Thanks for this. Looking again, do you think moving the top iron core inductor to the top right corner, then re-positioning the center air core inductors a bit might help? The components are on an 8.5" x 9.5" rectangle.

    I did read over your build thread (along with a few others) as I was contemplating this build. Beautiful work, and definitely inspiration!
