  • Rustic (cheap recycled) speaker stands

So I need more distance from my Zinger derivatives at my PC desk. Instead of getting a bigger desk I decided separate stands would be cheaper, especially since I have the wood. 2x12 cut up rounded over, two very old bed rails I couldn't sell.

And little booster stands for smaller speakers.

        First impression:

Even without the little booster stands to get my small TMs up to ear level the added 2 feet of separation makes a huge improvement. These are sized to get my Zinger derivatives to the correct level.

Finally, an extended shelf under the old desk provides room for the printer and any power amp I might wish, deep enough for the new Sonance.

Well thank you. I hope I inspire others to scrounge up some improvements.

Nice work djg. I have had old bed slats sitting under my bed for years. I considered making a coat rack, this is a considerably better idea 😆. I'd probably paint em though.
