A little more progress. I finally bit the bullet and finished up the second veneer covering in the heat we've had.

Wow. I don't think anyone has envied my woodwork. I consider myself mediocre at best so thanks for the compliment! Let's hope my voicing skills hold up for this one.

    Tom,

I stewed and stewed on how I was going to tackle those. I considered my circular saw with a track, hand saw...then just decided to try a zero clearance quazi-sled on the table saw. I had to make a few passes (I need a ripping blade) but it worked better than I expected.

I was also really nervous about the veneer trimming. I had a veneer saw but it was cheap and not great. I picked up a Japanese style pull saw thinking it would work wonders and it was terrible (for the application anyway). So I ended up using a small razor blade by hand and trimming everything that way. It actually worked very well and didn't take as long as I expected. I have one more to cover...I hope it turns out like this one.

I didn't even consider this a tutorial but if it helps with anyone then great!

Thanks John! The subs will end up in two dual-opposed cabinets, sealed. They have yet to be built, along with the stands.
