  • Just another OS MT build

I built these for my wife. Special thanks to Paul for sharing his design and Erich for putting the kits out to the public. These things sound incredible for a small speaker. For those that haven't heard them, its a small investment for such a quality sound.

I veneered these with paperbacked Maple and Titan DX contact cement. It couldn't have been easier. Finished with Waterlox Original low VOC. (never again) Baffles were were painted using a base coat of Krylon satin black topped with Krylon Make it Stone Black Granite.

Sweeeet job!! It's really cool to see all the finishing creativity with Paul's popular designs. Those baffles do look like granite. Nicely done.

The crossover layout is really neat. I am also planning on building the OS TM. Would it be possible for you to make a quick diagram of the crossover layout. I am trying to get as much info as possible from your snap, but a rough diagram would really help.

Again, nice build with a great finish.

That's a build anyone can be proud of. Good work.

The label on the back is a really nice touch, too. I like it.

Thanks for the link. BTW, how do you achieve the label effect? Very pro looking.

Waterslide decals from Testors. I got them at Hobby Lobby. You just print them from an ink jet printer, spray them with rattle can clear, let them dry and you're good to go.

Very nice job -- I like the granite-like finish on the baffles. The decals are a nice touch too. I'll bet your wife loves them...
