My objective was easy to understand dialog and I think this goal was accomplished. This crossover sounds fine to me, but the woofer section probably could be improved upon. I like the looks and the sound.
Nice Job I really like the look...

I've been trying to figure out the crossover and it's a bit blurry so I redid it in SchemeIt but I'm not sure the values and model numbers of the drivers are correct. Can you look it over and see if they are correct?

Yep; that's it. Midrange has polarity reversed.

No, I don't think that would work very well! I do believe that you need some kind of return path for the little electricsicles!:D

Cabrini the Last in the works. Have to resize the tweeter cutout slightly, but otherwise it should be a pretty quick conversion.

These were on the road for 2-1/2 years or so... Not sure what is in store for them after this final upgrade path, but as playback monitors in a studio they would probably work pretty dam good, actually. Not for mixing, mind you, but for playback.

Zombie thread. The waveguide did not play well with that woofer, so no update there.

However, it is now cheaper today than six years ago to build these - including an upgrade to a poly cap. The slightly larger coil should bring the mid-range down a touch, as well.

Plus, now the drivers and XO components ship free. Add some binding posts and a bag of polyfill.

Thank you for the update. I keep these in the speakers I want to build list. I have a full set of parts for the Le Singe Sarcophage, just don't have the room for them. Hopefully they can be my garage speaker if I ever get one.

In your write up on these, you mention a vented tower version. Would you still recommend that as a build?

Yep, with the understanding they will be output limited due to the short Xmax on the woofer.
