Had to design a base to lift the Anthologies to accommodate the down-firing port. These 2x2, 1/4 inch wall aluminum posts are 4" high.

My version of the Anthologies. Not the room they will be in, but wanted to get them next to my older sound system. Very pleased with the sound. The bass is much better than I expected, very tight and controlled. Voice is excellent and the highs are crystal clear. I am not a big believer in long "break in" times, but they definitely improved within a few hours. Thanks to everyone involved in this project!

              Best,
              Joe

                    Great craftsmanship Joe!

                    They came out beautiful!

Honestly, give them about 20 hours break in time before critically listening. They do get better. :D

                    Enjoy!

                    Jim

That is the theory Marvin, but I'm sure it is purely aesthetic...took aluminum Martini glasses from Target and cut the stems off.

Thank you for the kind words. Right now I keep playing R. Pidgeon's, Spanish Harlem while trying to find all the thing resonating in the room.

                              Hi Joe,

You've lived with the Anthology's for a while now. Can you share any listening impressions?

The Statements are very well known but the Anthology's aren't so I'd appreciate your feedback now that you've spent time with them.

                              Thanks!

                              Jim

FYI - Edited the topic to remove the "mdash" which caused an error in the URL and it would not display properly.
