  • Realistic 40-1375 'leaf' tweeter...

I have been given one of these units, and there is a scorched portion of the ribbon. Is there a chance I can buy a replacement diaphragm? Is it worth it? DCR w/o XOver is about .4 ohms, and nominal appears to be 4ohms despite it's 8ohm spec'd-label. It is electrically sound, but produces no sound when connected.
    Thanks,
    Wolf

Sounds like they're fried - the Rad shack leafs were made my JVC and weren't bad for the time. However, you can do better now for not much money like the B&G Neo3 PDR, for example. You might find some JVC's on eBay.
