Yeah, the soldering station is a great idea, along with a roll of solder. I should have gotten the Weller, but instead got a Tenma from MCM...supposedly adjustable, but it's a POS. Doesn't work very well unless it's turned up all the way and the tips never stay tight. 'Bout time for one of those Wellers on sale!

The Weller WLC100 (372-120) Soldering Station is on special at $49.87. I have one and it works great for all of my crossover-soldering needs.

What? These are sold here (again)?? Man, it was a sad day when they stopped carrying these.

The snap-together grills are nice to have around, along with some grill cloth. You could make nicer grills if you have a wood shop, but these work well for a fairly quick low-mess solution that you can do inside. They are bulky so getting free shipping is a good deal.

Ah hell, that's only $4.83 more. Unless you want to pick up an RSS265HF for me :D. Or a 250W plate amp maybe?

Sorry to say I'm of no help but 'tis true. Throw a couple more drivers in the cart and check 'er out. Still it sounds like your shipping bill so far wouldn't be too bad anyway.
