  • New forum software....

Okay- we no longer have smilies (that work), signatures, hybrid view, or the ability to make the most recent post in the thread the last visible in the chain.

It really seems wrong to me to read the first/original post in a thread, and then immediately following that the most recent post, followed by having to go to the bottom of the page to scroll up to read the rest of it in order. If there is a way to get this more similar to the older software, I'm all ears. There just does not seem to be a button to allow this arrangement.

Oh- and a slower moving interface....

I don't know about you but my posts go from top to bottom, sorted by date, the new posts are at the bottom...

I'm sure the rest of the smilies will get fixed.

Signatures are still there btw, you just have to check a box in your account to display them.

I figured it out that "POSTS" should be the selected button that I didn't know was a button.
        Sorry for the rant...

Quoting multiple people in a single reply appears a bit more difficult. It also appears that only the OP can tag the thread, which is probably a good thing.

Okay- found the real setting to make 'POSTS' the default in the 'ACCOUNT' settings. A agree about the tagging ability. I also found the signatures box. Looks better now!
Now- the notifications shows all replies in my message center. I wonder how to tweak that out.....

Very slow, very very slow. Fairly ugly in it's default view - and overall just a serious reminder that we live in an age where most people seem to be content with drastically reduced functionality driven by mobile addictions.
Don't listen to me - I have not sold any $150,000 speakers.

Another issue... I now have loads of subscriptions to threads I've never posted in or subscribed to. (EDIT: actually this appears to be a forum subscription so it now seems to report every single post in the forum you are subscribed to, seems odd)

The forum is also *really* slow.

Any way to change the number of threads per page? I figured out the number of posts per page.

I wonder if the stickies at the top could become one selection that links to the rest so that half the first page is not used up by stickies?
