      • Javad- can you PM me your digits later so we can do that?

        The rest of you-
The way it looks to me, Friday lunch would be easy to hit up Culver's since it's right out front and within walking distance. Jimmy John's is across the highway for something else really quick.

Friday evening for dinner, I'm looking at the Trolley Bar currently since it's also close, but if the menu seems a bit co$tly to the majority we have plenty of other options. I'm thinking a steakhouse type place with other menu items, and of course wine for Paul.

Since the majority also likes Mexican food, Friday night would also allow time for Casa Grande Mexican Grille, or Ziano's Italian. These are not as close to the venue, but are only 1.7 or fewer miles down the road. Think more like your average Applebee's pricing on these 2, or maybe a couple/5 dollars more.
Sadly, we're not adjacent to Agave's this year.

If you guys could hash this out beforehand, it will help me plan the evening with a bit better and let the eatery we choose know ahead of time.

Saturday for lunch, I'll talk more about this closer to the event.

        Later,

        • Thanks for thinking about me, Ben. The Trolley menu is very appealing, although it might be more costly than some would like, and I'll be happy with any decent steakhouse or Casa Grande or Ziano's for Friday dinner. Culver's or Jimmy John/s are fine for lunch on Saturday.

          • I'd be fine with the Trolley Bar as well. I don't eat expensive very often, so this is kind of the once a year treat at InDIYana. FWIW, I don't know that it's much more costly than the Red River was the last 2 years.

I have eaten at the other 2 places, and both are very good.

            • I don't remember what the exact prices were at the Red River, but they were probably pretty much the same as those at the Trolley Bar, and when the food and service are good, it's nice to splurge (I won't tell you what it cost at a 5-star French restaurant to which we took our 2 daughters, son-in-law and his mother to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary last December. It was expensive but the food, the service, the staff and the ambience was worth every single penny).

                • Got my hotel booked for Saturday night at Hampton. Not sure if anybody's staying over Saturday night but you are welcome to share with me. I can make only for Saturday after pulling an all night drive on Friday.

                  • I will be there early Fri. I better as i am bringing the front end gear lol. As far as gear, we will have an Emotiva cd player, dac1, and classe audio model 30 preamp. You are more than welcome to bring another source if you like. I have multiple rca ins. We will be using balanced outs from the dac to the pre and on to Bens dual Crown 1500s. In addition, i will have my Behringer nu1000dsp and Hammer sub. There will be a couple of sets of high end rca cables available (silver with cryogenic ends-don't hate). I will try to have 3.5mm(1/8") male to rca as well. If you need something else, please let me know.

                    • Until recently I figured that I, yet again, wouldn't be able to attend because my weekends have been dedicated to house hunting, but we now have a house purchase in the works. So, I think I can make it for Saturday. I'm really looking forward to it! No projects to bring; maybe next year when I have a workshop again.

                      • It'll be good to see you here again, Paul! I think it's been since my first hosting in 2009 that you've been able to make it. You had your Trilliums.

I'll add you to the list,

You had your Marcatos that year at InDIYana, Paul. So yes- you have met.
