beginning to think the dip centered at 2.5k is an artifact of diffraction and or cause the M/T are mounted horizontally . it shows up off axis as well as on and i've tried all i know to help it , granted that is not a whole lot ! red is 30* , green 45* to the left (tweet side)

for now i'm gonna work on the 500 hump and see if i can knock that down a bit ...

changed the value of the shunt coil in the mid circuit from 2 to 1.2mH .... now back to that damn dip ...

been listening all night , love the tweet ! it's open and airy and with only one speaker has good sound stage .

tomorrow i'm gonna turn the tweet and lay it on its side . i want to see if that dip is horizontal mounting .... that dip is driving me mad !

the last pic from 4ft .

the squiggly line above sounds pretty good and may be as good as it gets . here's the network .

Try bypassing that 0.05mH coil to see if it makes much of a difference in the response.

first off that is a typo , it is a .5 coil and it is what really shapes the knee . if you go up 5 posts that is the transfer without it .

some things of note . was running it at higher volumes last night , it does not do loud very well . seemed to get a lil muddy and after about an hour at volume sent my entry level 6ohm Sony into protect . at more average listening levels it sounds really good . i forgot to order a 100ohm resister so i can build a jig and check on the in box impedance and i am still struggling to get good and consistent usable files .
