Newark will apparently have some of their drivers, but I assume the clearance ones will be NLA

On a side note: I've ordered a ton of electronic components over the years for both work and for my own DIY projects, and Newark is my least favorite distributor, by a wide margin! Mouser and Allied Electronics both rub Newark's hose in the dirt.

        That's a bit rough eh.

Since it looks like they may be going nla and everyone says there pretty darn good, I'm ordering a quad of the nd20fa's while there on sale and have about $200 in the other distributor's cart.

If someone measures these and has frd and zma files, please share with me!

I'm going to try my (novice) hand at a crossover for the 4" axis driver (AXT-04) + Dayton ND20FA-6

          Thank you

If someone wants to send me a ND20FA-8, I'll work up a crossover for it and the AXT04.

I'm partial these days for low distortion, and I'm not in a hurry, so I think I'll use the Peerless DX20BF00-04
It's pretty flat, low distortion and cheap.

Don't need to spend the $ right now. I'm sitting here debating with myself over a few of the mcm 55-5560 5" cast frame, 55-5595 Axis 6" kevlar, and 55-5615 6.5" carbon paper for later builds.

If you guys say they're that good and are a steal at the price. I'll click the buy button.

Guys, I'm going to build a pair with The PE ND25fa-4 tweeters, since I have those on the shelf.
Also, per ceiol's post, I'll work up a crossover for the ND20fa-8.

Depending on interest, the design/build thread may be collaborative or minimal.
It'd be nice if a couple of people want to "play along".

I ma interested in the T/S specs for the Audible Physics 6.5 and your cabinet dimensions. Please post or IM...

In vented, I am getting 40fb and 37f3 based on the actual measurement of my driver without break-in.

Take a look on the Intertechnik.com site, the Axis drivers are used in a lot of kits there.

Keep those measurements and design handy. Have a quad of those and 54-845 6" coated paper midrange on the way. Waited too long and missed the kevlar cones.

Know that post a while back about were to draw the line ... I've for sure stepped over it ... probably have been for quite some time. Question is, do I come clean and crawl on all fours and beg or take it like a man???

Count me in for the group project for the Axis AXT-04 plus ND20FA-6 combo.

I just hope the MCM actually sends me the drivers that I ordered... I bought from their site when the drivers were clearly available and now I got an email telling me that they are not available and that part of my total order has been cancelled. Hmmm, they certainly were available when I ordered them! Maybe PWR RYD had a point about their service!

Those little woofers deserve a better tweeter.
Don't listen to me - I have not sold any $150,000 speakers.
