    Anyone remember these and we're they any good?

      Guy at work has some. Some models look decent. Some don't.

        He may be wrong about the brand. He said they started with an M and had two more letters. Might be MTX. It would make more sense as the guy he got it from also gave him a onkyo stereo and cd changer from the time period that circuit city carried MTX. He said he doesn't want any of it and just needs to get rid of it. I will more than likely get the stereo and cd changer.

          I saw someone take a pair of the MTX P.A. speakers and rework them ala econowave and they turned out pretty nice. Might be worth considering...

            Sometimes the cabinets can make old speakers worth picking up

              I was thinking about that. I have a few extra drivers lying around. I was told the speakers were heavy so the cabs might be usable.
