    I don't remember if a silver flute was ever used in iron driver. This is a question for Roman or Mike.

            My vote would be for the Aurasound Whisper. One could go in a lot of different directions with that.
            Keep an open mind, but don't let your brain fall out.

              I like the idea of the SB13PFC25-08. I think that choosing a tweeter allows too much freedom. The SB prescribes the midrange while still potentially allowing for a 3-way.

                I've never participated in the iron driver, but I seem to remember reading that the SB13PFC25-08 was the driver one year.

                  This is an interesting Idea. Could be used as a mid or a tweeter and cheap enough to be used in multiples. I think you'd see maximum variation in the entries with a driver like this.

                      Another one reasonably priced and on sale for $39 at that place in Madison is the SB15NAC30-8 which is the silver version.

                              i like the 6.5 inch silver flute driver. makes for a nice 2 or 3 way.
