      Both. As the four drivers have the same impedance as the one the four drivers and the one driver would draw the same current and the same voltage, which is the same power.

        xmax: In circuit analysis the branch ( with 4 drivers ) can be simplified/reduced ( see Kirchhoff Circuit Laws )

          With 5 drivers - an Array is a possibility

              You had it right when you established branch(node) equivalency:
              The group being 8 ohms and the single driver being 8 ohm it seems like everybody would get the same power.
              Both branches presented equal Re, thus V & I are equal to both branches (One branch had 4 x the power handling capability of the other branch however ).
