  • Hear this artist/song before?

I was sifting through youtube and came across this song by Chris Jones.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-h6MoF7HLA

I never heard of him, so I searched a bit and came across his record label (Stockfisch-Records). Most I heard seemed very listenable. I'm open to recommendations of a similar style of music.

Nice. Most available CDs are shipping from Europe. I guess because he lived in Germany he was on a lot of other folks' recordings over there.

      Thanks.

I've got a Tidal music subscription where you can surf music and add tracks to your "playlist' i've got a couple hundred tracks over the last couple months.

i'll see if theres a way to share it without having to transfer manually........listening to "Havana" by Camilla Cabelo right now, awesome bass line!

That song is used in some audiophile demos.

I find it interesting all of the 'flac' and '24bit' audio insinuated on the youtube playlist.....it's all compressed aac mp4 165 kbps with up to 192 kbps on some.
and although some of it sounds decent enough the only way to currently stream a real flac audio w/ video is on tidal and maybe deezer (not sure on deezer)

That's been on the demo list for a while.

Going to sit back and check out some of these other recommendations.

I was just listening to some boyz ll men and although I prefer their later songs better, it seems like their first album was recorded with actual separation of the artists. When just listening to their “best of” album, it seemed like all the singers were standing in the same spot. Is that because of the way it was recorded or mixed? I love the songs, but not the blandness of separation. Then I go listen to some MJ and am never dissatisfied.

to elaborate on this, I had never streamed a video on tidal until this peaked my curiosity......connected via chromecast i'm getting PCM 24/48 audio with some impressive video quality(not sure what but its clear!)

Just watched 'Echame La Culpa' by Luis Fonsi and Dem Lovato , Audio and visual was dang imprssive to say the least........really loving this Tidal thing, best $30 a month i've ever spent!
