Ok, thanks John. In that case by all means go ahead and use this method. Like I said, errors in timing won't matter here, as it will be incorporated in the delay value that you determine using this method.

Oh yeah!! You's gots some mind-warpage going on there! I haven't played that through them yet, but I plan to! What a GREAT album....
...and yes it is better than the remaster too. I had no idea anybody else on here had that.

FWIW, I like the Brainchild:Mindwarp version over that of the later CircleOfDust:Brainchild and it's remaster.
I see it says limited edition to 1000 copies. Care to share the release year from the back? Mine says p&C 1992 R.E.X. MUSIC INC. #7901426810
I'm wondering if yours is a Retroactive Records version, ca. 2005 release. Nevermind, confirmed as I type:

This is the one I have:
https://www.discogs.com/Brainchild-M...release/102225
I also have the original CoD release, but the songs are ever so slightly different and more polished. They dropped the intro to Telltale Crime by Geraldo, and the vocals on track 3 are less desirable:

As well as the remaster by the artist himself from a couple years ago.

I feel some things are better, some are worse. For SQ, the original Mindwarp takes the cake.
I hope the SQ is faithful to the original on the reissue you have.
Enjoy!

...and if you like it, I would definitely look into getting this one too:

The other CoD stuff is different, as every album sounds different. I like them all.

So........
I bought this off ebay for 8 dollars. I wanted to take a photo like your Dragon Foals pic i saw, when I finished my version of your "Zingers".
It is digitally remastered, Retroactive records, C 2005. Yes, limited 1000 units.
I'll give it a listen later today when I'm alone.
Edit: I'll have to hook up one of my big amps for this CD after I finish my "zinger" derivatives. I don't think the little SMSL will do it justice.Last edited by djg; 06-10-2019, 05:44 PM.

Wait until you guys see these at MWAF! They look a LOT better now, and it was extremely fun to do. Need some more polyurethane applied to all but the baffles, and then I'll work on those a smidge.
No finished pics until MWAF,

djg- Wow! The tweeters are near 2 for 1 pricing at $13.29 here at PE. $26.34 is regular price! All 4 drivers for this project currently cost $85.88 plus tax and shipping.
Just doing up a simple BOM for the current cost using Q4 caps, the Jantzen 15AWG for woofer and Dayton 20AWG for tweeter, yields xover cost of $100.48.
You can actually order all the parts for these, and not even break $200 for the pair. That is drivers and xover parts, coming to $186.36, and you still have enough left over for purchasing terminals and wire to round out the $200, excluding tax and shipping.
2x of everything:
295-484 SD215A-88 Dayton
264-1460 DA25BG08-06 Peerless
257-030 0.35mH/20AWG Dayton
255-432 2.2mH/15AWG Jantzen
027-116 6.8uF Q4 Audyn
016-8.2 8.2 ohm/10W Xicon
255-957 33 ohm/10W Jantzen
027-120 22uF Q4 Audyn
That is very affordable!
