I know you said money aside, but if you are seriously thinking about building these, have you considered ordering directly through Erse? The 16 ga 2.2's can be had for like $20 for the pair. You would save more getting other XO parts added to the cart as well. I typically just buy from PE but sometimes the components aren't available or the savings are just too great.

Okay I see them there now. They are out of stock thought. There is a cheaper one but you have to buy 25.

I think it's normal for them to say out of stock. I always go ahead and complete my order and they ship everything within the week, even the out of stock stuff. I think as long as you only need a handful, they make them up per order.
