I own and tested the amp you linked. I also own and tested the Dayton MCA2250E plate amp. IMO the MCA2250E is better in all aspects and would recommend that one. The specs says it has a 150 Hz high pass on the satellites, but I measured -3 dB at 85 Hz so I'd call that an 85 Hz high pass.

Hi chris, I want to use it for movies so they will take a lot of bass I think. Is there any change that I can put a highpass on the nd91-8 AND a tweeter. The subwoofer sound good and the amp sound good (millstonemike helped me to modify the amplifier).Comment

djg, how do you like the MCA amps? I read some reviews complaining about noise issues.Comment

if I buy this one I have a built in highpass but the rest of the amp I know nothing about. I want to give the sub 50 clean watts RMS and this amp only have 60 watt RMS. Also it will only accept a max of 22 V wich isn't 60 watt RMS

Jeff, that's the type of amp I use, mine only have a volume for sub, volume for satelite and a overal volume. The amp have a -1.5db around 20 hz what starts slowly at 30 hz, so my sub don't exceed xmax. The crossover that is built in in the amp can be modified...Comment
