Can unglued port extensions affect low frequency response?

Did a search on this topic but couldn't find any results. Any of you guys' have any experiences on this? I'm wondering if the air leaks between the port + extension INSIDE the enclosure, will affect the bass response.

The impedance sweep looks normal though with the right port tuning frequency

Well, almost ANY (kind of) extension will affect the tuning, as close proximity (to adjacent surfaces) can.
And leaks can be problematic, even INside the enclosure.
But I'd say If your Z-plot looks good, then no worries.

My normal procedure is to put the port sections together without glue, measure, trim the port length as needed, re-measure etc. When I'm done I glue the sections. I've never seen any difference before and after gluing.
