  • Older Dayton RSS315HF parameters and sealed box size?

Hey guys. I have an older 315 from 2012. Anyone still have the T/S parameters and the recommended sealed box volume? Thanks!

    Qe .58, Qm 3.1, (Qts 0.49), Fs 25, Vas 3.0cf, Re 3.3, Le 1.04, Xmax 14.3mm, Sd 516cm^2, Pe 400wRMS, (SPL 86dB)

Yields your "nominal" 0.7"Q" in 3.0cf.
(2.0cf, stuffed, only raises up to 0.74)

Zaph's archives also has a design at 2.6L from 2005. I heard that exact enclosure with a bash 300 and it sounded fantastic with my mains for music.

          2.6L ? Or did you mean 26 L ?

        The 2 boxes I modeled have F3s below 40Hz.
        In 0.9cf (26L) w/the B300 (boost about +1dB @ 28Hz) you're looking at about 45Hz w/a "Q" close to 1.0 .

I agree, Chris is incredibly helpful. Incredibly patient at times, too.
