  • ACC (Audax) TM025F1 tweeter availability..... *PIC*

I just received a reply from Meniscus that ACC does indeed make the TM025F1, and if demands are high enough, both MAD and Meniscus will sell it.

So- Who wants to send e-mails to MAD and Meniscus to ask for these tweeters?

I know some of you still like the air and top-end these have the reputation for, so- let's Git 'R Done!!!

Wondering if any headway has been made with these tweets.

I just finalized my "Audax Als" which are MTs with aforementioned tweets with Zaphs' "Audax Mini" hi-pass crossover and a DA175 with the original low-pass section from the "Silver Als"(1st version) in an old pair of Sanyo bookshelves @ about .33c.f. or so. They are beyond sweet, such a nice tweeter and Zaph's crossover was perfect for this.

I'd hate to think what will happen if I blow a tweeter.

I'll definitely bug them, too. She's a good little tweeter. And controlling the top octave rise is pretty easy.

So, would these be drop-in replacements for ye olden F1, or would there be manufacturing differences?

From what I understand, ACC makes them as they were before with the same tooling. I don't imagine they'd be any different than prior. PLEASE BUG THEM!

I just tried to go to Meniscus' site, but I am "403 Forbidden" and don't have "permission" to access any part of it. Can't search or look at any drivers. Huh? I was there last month...no problem.

Yeah, 90% of their website was unreachable this morning. A shame, because I've never gone to their site until today.

However, I'm mainly posting again to make sure this thread got plenty of views. I'm in the process of creating a machine that will allow me to stab people through the internet. If someone doesn't want to be get themselves on my list, well, they had best be sending emails to info@madisound.com. :D

They are rebuilding their site and going to a new server in a week or so. Meanwhile, the old site is slowly falling apart.
