  • Radio Shack changing it's name to "The Shack"

I guess they don't sell radios anymore.

And I heard that Pizza Hut is changing their name to "The Hut."

What's next, Taco Bell changing it's name to "The Bell?"

Re: Radio Shack changing it's name to "The Shack"

Here lately, I've had trouble finding "anything" I need at Radio Shack. Something must be working for them though.. .the doors are still open.

Lol @ the names.. while we're at it, we should petition Starbucks to change their name to just "Bucks"... digressing now.

I bet McDonald's would like to go to "The Donald" but copyright won't allow it.

"It has been remarked that if one selects his own components, builds his own enclosure, and is convinced he has made a wise choice of design, then his own loudspeaker sounds better to him than does anyone else's loudspeaker. In this case, the frequency response of the loudspeaker seems to play only a minor part in forming a person's opinion."

Well, they've been overdue for a reinvention. Maybe it's part of the Livestrong Cycling Team venture:

Every modern branding push strains to make things as truncated and stupid as possible.

hell, my name is a result of that. I used to be "Mr. Saturn", then I was "MrSaturn", then "MSaturn", now "msaturn".

                        Sad.

soon I shall rebel and become known as Mr. Saturn Emeritus, esq

Yeah, I was kind of wondering about your MSaturn name.
Sometimes it made me think of the planet Saturn and one of it's Moons, other times it made me think of Saturn the autoMobile company.

Mr. Saturn is actually a character(s) - they all have the same name - in a videogame called "EarthBound", which remains my favorite.

                            They look like this.

Which is pretty much how I look, so it makes sense.
