Holy Cow! I made the list!

I better get to work cutting more MDF. The finished pair has been given to my brother as a belated birthday present. He'll be picking them up in the next week or two. Doug, I'll get all the pertinent info together for you in the next few days...after I order some more parts and come up with a name for these.

          Me Too!

And here's my entry...a two-way featuring the Tang Band W5-1685 and the Vifa XT25SC50-4, in a mass loaded, tapered quarterwave cabinet. These get down into the low 30's with ease, but require lots of power to get the most out of them.

It's an easy build, with a simple crossover. All the details will be available after Iowa 2009 once I get permission from my 'partners in auditory crime', Mssrs. Dirk and Kittinger. Thanks guys!

BTW: Doug, I'll have details to you by the end of the weekend, but its well inside the budget category.

Not really, Maynard. Flatlander-boy can bring his idea of 'ghetto blasters' to Iowa. We're all gentlemen and will politely listen to whatever bizarre concoction he decides to drag across Illinois.

                    Pssshhh...
If a cheese-head can design speakers (or think he can design speakers :p), then I still have a very good chance of grating your design into shreads. :D

While it very well may be 'bizarre', as is my norm, I'm betting I can still aesthetically stomp all over your 'Muensters'...

Carry them across the windy city and raging river I will, as you'll melt away from the heat of my competition!
                    How cheesy, :p

Really Wolf, if you're going to get into a smack-off I'd hope you come with more than just talking like Yoda.
