  • Iowa entrants please read!

Linked is the entrants page of the Iowa 2009 website. Some of you have sent me your information many of you have not. I need this information to set the schedule for the day.

I NEED the name of your speaker and the cost (drivers and crossover parts for a pair) Please email me or PM me here with that information. The sooner the better.

Did I really type 'Cooper Project'? It's Copper - not Cooper. Thanks for correcting that Doug!

                Doug,

Pull me and put me on the alternate list. My daughter is going to be a flower girl in a wedding (honestly...who has a wedding on October 17th?) and it's in K.C., so there is no way that I can sneak out early. Give Derek my slot if he is still interested. I just don't think its right for me to take up a spot if I cannot be there, even though Curt would showcase them.

                Regards,

                Wayne

                  Doug,
Just sent my info to your email account. Thanks for the reminder.

                  Wayne,
Sorry to hear you won't be there. Was looking forward to another of your designs. Enjoy the wedding and your little flower girl...

                    No problem.

The funny thing is they most likely set the wedding date so it didn't interfere with pheasant season;)

You will be missed but at least we will get to see those boxes you put together for Curt.

Another tragic case of heavy metal and premature aging.

The source will be an Oppo and it can play most formats that can be found. Your 5 minutes of music is completely up to you. I just ask that it be on one disk if possible and in a commonly used format (wave, MP3). The Amp will most likely be my QSC GX5. It's a pro amp but its clean. We usually just play a track and once everyone agrees on the volume I take a measurement at six inches directly on the tweeter axis then all speakers are set to the same level. Distance from the speakers is anywhere from 4 foot to 60 foot depending on where you sit. It's a big room. I will have to check but I think some stands will be there. I don't have any but someone usually brings some. That' s a lot of info. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
