I don't think I have ever quoted myself before, but what the heck. I just measured my existing cabinets and realized the old Vals will make perfect 'sub stands' for the Ewave HPB+. The CD will be at ear level while sitting. little vintage with a lot of new.
I am listening in mono to my one prototype and still cannot get over just how good this 'kludge' sounds. I can't wait to get the tweaked cabinet done and playing.

The one I have done sounds pretty good - thanks to Zilch (I am fortunate to live an hour away so I get to visit the master in person.)
But the cabinet is really a huge compromise and needs to go so I am thinking the not so econo-HP plus my 2235's in B380 sub clones my be the way to go.

is this what your were talking about with the 90x90? It appears to be the same size as the eminence.

Looks like we have an econowave surround now
How well would they play with the SRs?

So the two directivity plots, one is for the two different mounting configurations correct?

If the combined response is less than the woofer alone, try reversing the polarity on the HF driver.

You need a really big room to measure 300 Hz...don't worry about it.
