  • Speakers are packed and ready!

I barely had enough room! Since I needed room for a 3rd occupant, I had to tighten things up a bit. I'll take pictures tomorrow and post them later.

I laid half the rear-seat down, and have the Tesseracts, an Attitude Xover and the MAX running into the rear hatch. Following those are the 2 recently built-up speaker stands that still need to be finished. Behind where Brian will be are the Attitudes and the other xover just inside the hatch door.

The only other room in the Maggie is on top of the stands or maybe in the rear-left-cubbyhole. I imagine 'we boyz' will have to travel light, and buy little.

Still- I'm shocked I was able to get it all in there!!! I never thought the stands would fit. I must have this 'packing/stacking' gene my family speaks very fond of, even if in jest at times.....

    See you all there!!! :D:D

I'm all ready, too. My son-in-law came over yesterday evening to help me load my pair of speakers into my wife's Rogue, but his help came at a price. He also brought over their dining room table with two leaves for me to refinish the tops! I plan on leaving here around 3 PM today, arriving at the venue around 4:30.

Re: Speakers are packed and ready!

Wolf / Ed L / Ed F / Brian / Tom, etc... all have a good time. I decided to cancel this year due to extreme wearout factor. 1500 miles of driving in the last 7 days on top of 2 trips to CA for work and another one coming Monday  !!!

I need a quiet weekend home to recoup from the work and holiday travel, and the 4th of July beer/steak fest and driving. Just can't bear the thought of 4 hours of car time tomorrow.

            Cheers / Robert

Re: Speakers are packed and ready!

I'm another who will not be attending. Not worn out, just overcommitted. I'm feeding 130 of my closest friends on Saturday night, then spending the night with them under some very clear skies. If you happen to see bright Venus in the West, I'm probably looking at it, too.

                Enjoy all!!

                Have fun,
                Frank

I'm going! Look for the red Beanie (sans big hair this year).

A great time was had by all! But, we were still poorer for your absence!!!
