        .....
How about this one? Two of them are about $17, shipped.

ERSE direct has $25 minimum, as I recall. Source some of the other components there, and you'll be able to meet that....

*It's pretty kickass presently, and clearly runs past the OS guru's 8"er for less than 1/5 the cost. Outstanding to complete is adding ports and optimizing the low end, but the rest of it has "benchmark" standing written all over it. The verticals are delicious, and the forward axis right where you want it to be for your mini-monitors.
Thanks for doing that work Zilch! You beat me to the punch and I couldn't be happier. ;)

So far it looks like the Beta8a delivers just fine. I'll post my measurements / info when the time comes.

Zilch, have you though about going the full KL-650 clone route and using the dayton waveguide from the original econowave?

It would make an excellent center channel to go with the TMM setup you are working on.

Others here are "working" that option.

I have not come up with a custom center channel yet.... :(

I decided to be patient with the 2.0mh inductors since I haven't even started on the cabs for my Mini Ewaves yet with the XD120 and Beta 8A. Thanks so much for all of your help Zilch!!

These will be my 2nd set of Ewaves after building my JBL 2226H woofered high efficiency standard Ewaves about 2 years ago.

                              • Beta-8A & HM17-25:

Nice bloomless blend on the horizontals; rotating the waveguide would yield smoother, but even with an 8" woofer and minimal center-to-center distance between drivers, I'm going to have to move the crossover frequency down considerably to get a decently tall forward vertical lobe:
