So- what say you? Is there enough interest that I bring them along again? Please choose your preference.
You can pick more than one answer, but the best-fit should apply.

I'm the first unequivocal yes only because I clicked before reading further...

I can understand that not everyone may be interesed in demos, but I am very interested. It's one reason I'm trying to arrive early, so Wolf can schedule things any time. There's always Friday evening...

Wolf--I would be interested, although in something brief, not extensive. Another thing I would be interested in -- could PE present anything on how their new mic system might be used for speaker design?? Or demo it?

You know what- that's a great idea, Frank!

We should finish supper about 8pm or so Friday evening. For those that would rather not take the 'quiz', they can just return home or to the hotel room until morning, while the rest of use can return to the conference room after a short essen-recess.

Does that sound like a plan? Anyone?

          The cap-test itself takes about a half-hour.

I'm going to guess that will be a 'no', but I may put out some feelers and see. When it was in Richmond, we were ~1 hr from PE. PE only attended the first InDIYana event with a physical presence. I think this was mainly to get acquainted with it for PE's own event that started a year later.

I can only say wait and see....

Well- It sounds like there are at least 5 people who want to give it a go, and I'll do it again for that many. I was wondering if the majority would vote, and be enough of them that the main-demo would take place for everybody as opposed to a very small portion.

If it'll be a separate area gig, I'll need more gear for my setup.... *OR*
...we do it after Dinner on Friday as Frank suggested to isolate it that way.

I think the second option is the golden one, because I'd be able to bring some items/speakers back home Friday evening to load up something else that needs to go Saturday.

I still hope you can make it, Mark!

If we finish dinner about 8:30-9:00pm, then we should be done and ready to leave post test about 9:30pm. It only takes a half hour.

That's 11 hours roughly from departure to reentry for Saturday morning; 9am sharp!

                    Still look troublesome?

If we have a "group" dinner on Friday like last year, I sure hope we're done long before 9 PM, meaning I hope we go to dinner no later than 6:30, because I simply can't wait that long to eat, nor do I want to grab some snacks to hold me over, then eat a big meal that late at night. I know, I'm just a grumpy old man set in his ways!:o

                        ...for your cap demo.

I'm hoping there's more than just caps to demo, and I'd be astonished if we don't talk about results (or lack thereof) far longer than we listen to anything.

If my demo plans pan out, I'll be completing a speaker after we're done Friday night. In fact, that's part of the demo...

                        HAve fun,
Frank, who's not as grumpy as Paul, but only by a hair.

At least you aren't eating at 3pm in the after noon and going to bed at 6pm, you ol' geezer! :D

Paul- I have plans for dinner between 6 and 7, as I stated before. Time always gets away from us and 2 hrs seems like a lot less time, so I figured we'd be done by 9pm at the latest. There have been talks of ordering in pizza at the hotel as an option, just so you are aware.

I do manage to stay awake most of the time.:p

I didn't recall dinner being scheduled, so to speak, at 6-7. Bringing in pizza would be fine, but I do hope to hit that Steakhouse once while there, and the Mexican restaurant was good, too.
