    2.5-way?

I still think it'll be a hard blend. Use James Taylor to diagnose the nasality issues with the XT.

    Please report back! :D

But I rebounded nicely the next year!

In 2008 I did a MTM with a TB 28-847, a couple of RS 125's and the SD215. It sucked like your Gramma's old Hoover. As I have mentioned a few times, 'In a 22 entry competition, it made the Top 21 entries possible!'

I'll model this up in a MTM and 2.5 but I'm guessing that it'll go as a straight MTM. I'm asking Dirk to measure 'em up and will spend at least 2 months on the enclosures - they're gonna be big, maybe up to 4 cubic feet!

And btw what puddin' are you looking for, Junior?

"Proof is in the puddin'!" I thought maybe you had modeled it first... I usually do to get a feel for if it will work or not.

I took Usher's and Vifa's measurements and plugged them in, but it's always better to have actual measurements - hence the assist from my buddy up the road.

Like mentioned earlier this week...I have options!

Re: How much fun will this be?!?!?!

The XT25's aren't known for crossing too low, and the Ushers are an 8" woofer with low Fs. Have you considered a dome or small mid to fill in 800-2500Hz?

EDIT: Might be better to not run the Ushers above 500Hz.

I probably would have choosen the RS28F to go with those Ushers! Eitherway I am jealous!

Your simulation from the 'Fissures' certainly looks like they dig deep. How were they in the mids?

Hard to tell since the sim was for someone else. I've not built, nor heard them. I would like to someday however....
